what is foundations?
foundations is our next step for everyone at home church. here you will learn the vision, mission, and dream that God has given our church, and how we can partner with what He is doing here. foundations helps bring clarity to our church culture and values, and serves as the main pathway from being a visitor to becoming part of the home church family.
what to expect?
class duration: expect the foundations class to be an hour and a half long.
location: locations vary depending on which Home Church location you attend.
teacher: one of our home church pastors will be teaching the class, where you can meet and ask them questions.
childcare: children are welcome to join the class, or childcare is available.
membership: completing foundations does not automatically make you a home church member, but it is the first step toward membership. to become a member, you'll need to submit a membership application for approval.
course completion: foundations is a one-time class that we do once a month across all locations. visit our events page to sign up to take foundations at one of our locations.
why should i take foundations?
foundations is the best place to get to know the church's story in a setting where you can truly engage with the vision and ask questions. it offers a clear look at where the church is heading and how you can be a part of that future. ultimately, foundations is where you can confirm if this is the right church home for you and your family.
