chris scoz is a husband, father, lead pastor, and preacher with almost 20 years of experience. beginning in his early years as an intern pastor and serving as a missionary with youth with a mission (YWAM) across the united states, chris has always carried a calling to awaken people to the reality of Jesus.

in 2013, he joined the team at what is now home church in northern california. since becoming lead pastor in 2022, he has led home church's growth into a powerful, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church, reaching thousands of people across two locations in northern california. home church is known for its emphasis on pursuing Jesus' presence, spiritual formation, and reaching the prodigal.

holding a master’s in transformational leadership from jessup university, chris blends revival preaching, expository depth, personal storytelling, and practical application in his speaking. he regularly speaks at churches and conferences nationwide.

chris and his wife, vanessa, have been married since 2014 and are raising their two children, zadok and psalm, in lathrop, california.
